Register now for a Bible study of David's kingdom

Join our next evening Bible study beginning September 13th, 2017 for an in-depth look at the lives of Saul, David, and Solomon, using as a study guide The United Kingdom of Israel: A Foreshadowing of the Reign of Christ the King. This 28-lesson Catholic Bible study, written by parishioners Jennifer Phelps and Matthew Phelps, examines the kingdom of David to learn how it points ahead to the kingdom of heaven.

An important characteristic of David's kingdom can be seen in its name—the United Kingdom, which gathers the people of God into one nation. The Church established by Jesus Christ also represents a united kingdom. In the Nicene Creed each Sunday, we acknowledge the importance of Christian unity when we profess the Church to be “one, holy, catholic, and apostolic.”

Our group meets at 7:00 p.m. Wednesdays in the St. Augustin conference room. The cost is $69.95. For more information or to register, please contact Emily Duong at . To view a sample lesson or to learn more about other Turning to God’s Word Catholic Bible studies, please visit
